Why do some of the most vibrant fall colors in Minnesota each year appear in Ely? Because for over 40 years, one family – the Zueniks – has dedicated itself to hand-creating the breathtaking color that draws thousands of people each fall to this scenic northern Minnesota town.

Because of arthritis, Byron Zuenik is retiring and asking you to be part of the Ely Fall Leaf Colorization Project.
