Be like the Root Beer Lady and make your very own root beer at this 1.5-hour program at the Dorothy Molter Museum!
Dorothy was known for selling homemade root beer to thousands of visitors each year at her island home in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness from the early 1950s through 1986. Children aged 4 to 12 are welcome to not only learn more about Dorothy and the story behind her root beer, but also take a guided tour through her original cabins AND make 32oz of root beer to take home in a custom growler!
This program is appropriate for ages 4 and up; parents need not attend with children but are welcome to stay.
