Help provide food for pollinators by making a planter filled with seeds that you can plant in the ground in the spring. The planter will be stored ouside in a snowbank until the seeds sprout and the frost danger has passed. All materials will be supplied. This class is great for adults and children. Help Save the Bees.
About the Instructor: Deb Funk began raising honey bees as a hobby after retiring. Through that experience, she came to learn how important they are to our food supply. Working with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, the Ely Area Bee Club she has obtained seed packets that contain a mix of pollinator seed. She’d love to have these seeds planted in your gardens!
