Come check out the new “Discover Wolves!” exhibit at the International Wolf Center! More details coming soon!
This new exhibit will be a state-of-the-art tourism attraction in our community. It is being installed during the month of April and will be ready for the public to begin experiencing when we open for our summer hours in mid-May. After nearly five years of working on this project to raise the funds, design it, and build it, this $1.4 million project will incorporate exciting hands-on experiences that will immerse visitors into our work like never before. Key features include a “Howling Room” that will darken and simulate what it’s like to hear wolves at night in the wilderness – with northern lights dancing overhead. An airplane simulator will give visitors a birds-eye view using augmented reality to experience what it is like to track wolves from the air. A science lab will give children of all ages the opportunity to learn about the biology of wolves and how they compare to other predators.
