Summer’s Planetary Parade
Friday, July 20 2018
8:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Tuition: $20 No Materials Fee
Four bright planets captivate our attention at dusk this summer: Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars. Mars will be at its brightest and closet in more than 15 years. We will meet at the Folk School and view a slide presentation of the evening sky. We will then go to the Ely golf course parking lot to view the planets through a telescope, weather permitting. Dress appropriately. Bring bug spray if desired.
